Hi,

My name is Ashley Shanee Harris, or ASH. I was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. I am currently completing my Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on robotics. In my free time, I enjoy watching documentaries or listening to music without words. I consider myself a modern day explorer, backpacking and camping in places such as, Belize, Europe, and Thailand. Not only do I have a deep love for my family, but also for mankind. In 2016, I founded a nonprofit, which focuses on exposing underrepresented children to S.T.E.A.M. programs/presentations. In 2014, I also co-founded Why Envy Boutique, with my mother; a boutique specializing in handmade bows and uniquely styled clothes. I plan on leaving a stunning impact on the world both technologically and socially, through my artifacts and point-of-view.
